Zohran Mamdani Pledges a 'Dawn' for The Big Apple in Maiden Address
On his first day in his new role, Zohran Mamdani vowed to “reinvent” America's largest city, ushering in “a new era” and an ambitious commencement to his administration.
A Historic Leader
The young political star, who just a year ago remained a virtually unknown state assemblyman, has become the city's first Muslim mayor. He also made history by being the inaugural to be sworn in using the Qur'an.
